Glenda has been on staff at Willes Dental since 2012. She is grateful for her job and says that our awesome, friendly patients are what she enjoys most about it. When she isn’t working, Glenda enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, quilting, and just living in San Diego.
Juli has worked in dentistry since 1989 and has been one of our dental hygienists since 1995. She has completed many hours of continuing education over the years and is certified in laser and anesthesia. Our patients are what she enjoys most about working at Willes Dental. When she isn’t helping our patients maintain their smiles, Juli enjoys outdoor activities.
Melanie joined our team in 2001 but has worked in dentistry since 1978! Besides being a dental hygienist, she is also certified as a dental assistant. During her long dentistry career, she has completed many continuing education courses to stay up-to-date. Melanie loves seeing our patients achieve and maintain healthy mouths, and she enjoys developing friendships with them along the way. Melanie likes to hike when she’s not working.
Teresa graduated from the Shasta College Dental Hygiene Program in 2009 after receiving her Bachelor of Art degree in psychology from the University of San Francisco. She has been an important part of the Willes Dental team since 2014. Teresa enjoys the relationships she has built with our patients, while helping them improve their overall health with good oral hygiene.
She loves spending her spare time outdoors with her family – including her son who was born in 2016 – and her rescue dog, Leroy.
Renee joined the Willes Dental team in 2016 but has worked in dentistry since 2005. She has completed continuing education credits in dental sealants and is certified in X-ray and coronal polishing. She enjoys lifelong learning and having the opportunity to apply new skills in her dental assistant role.
Renee feels the best part of her job is helping others and building rapport one patient at a time, while making their dental experience comfortable. In her spare time, Renee enjoys doing volunteer work with her husband and two daughters as well as dancing, traveling, and experiencing different cultures. With pride, she recently realized that her daughters are picking up her long-time love of ballet and other dance forms.
Teri’s dental career began in 1973, and she joined our team in 2000. She is a certified oral surgery assistant who believes the best part of her job is getting to work with our patients. When not working, Teri enjoys fitness activities, going on mission trips for her church, and raising puppies for Canine Companions for Independence.
